OUR VISION
Creating a safe space for children to connect to God and grow in their faith
First-time visitors
Here are a few helpful tips to make your visit as easy as possible:
Plan to arrive 10 minutes before the service. This will give you enough time to get your kids checked in and get answers to any questions you have.
Upon arrival, please make your way to the Kids Check station. When you enter the building, this will be to the left, past the donut and coffee table.
Knowledgeable and friendly volunteers will be there to help you check in at Kids Check. Our check-in process gives us helpful information about you and your child and assists us in ensuring your child gets to the proper class. After check-in is complete, you will be walked to your child’s class.
After the service is over, you will return to your child’s class to pick up your kids. Adult volunteers will check your stickers to the one your child is wearing before dismissal.
SUNDAY PROGRAMMING
At Dayspring, our desire for kids is that they would know they are deeply loved by their Creator and that they have a unique purpose and calling on the earth.
Nursery
We believe that babies are a precious gift from God! Babies ages 6 weeks through 1 year spend their time with our nurturing and loving caregivers, who attentively care for their needs. Babies’ activities may include playing with age-appropriate toys, listening to music, looking at books, or enjoying tummy time.
Toddlers
We believe toddlers have an amazing ability to learn about God’s love, even at a young age. During class, our 1 and 2-year-old children actively participate in short Bible lessons and enjoy making simple crafts. Our caregivers provide a safe learning environment and centers are set up in the play space to allow for imaginative play.
We believe that elementary-aged children are at a prime age to develop a solid faith foundation. For our kindergarten through 3rd-grade kids, this happens during large group time by worshipping God through music, learning the Bible through videos, and spending time with other kids who believe in Jesus. Our time in a small group allows the kids to dig deeper into the lesson of the day and interact with a caring adult leader.
Kids Worship
Worship Jr
We believe that preschool-aged children learn about God best through movement! Our Worship Jr. class is set up in a way that allows them to jump, skip and move as they encounter God’s love. Kids in this class will learn their lesson by playing games, reading stories, watching a Bible lesson, singing fun songs, and making interesting crafts. Playtime allows children to make new friends and feel comfortable in their worship space.
Edge
We believe that 4th and 5th graders need a safe place to process their faith and a fun environment to connect with other kids their age. Our Edge class utilizes a curriculum that helps them navigate the Bible and grow deeper in their relationship with God while having fun.
Dayspring is intentional about partnering with parents as the primary leaders of faith formation for their kids. Our goal is to help support them in teaching kids to love God, others, and themselves. And, we have a lot of fun doing it!

All kids’ areas are secure and supervised by multiple KIDS Crew volunteers who have gone through a rigorous onboarding process that includes an application, in-person interview, background check, reference checks, CPR and First-Aid certification, policy training, and completion of an accredited sexual abuse awareness training. Only parents and approved volunteers are allowed in the kids’ area. Dayspring also contracts a police officer who monitors the hall near the kids’ classes. (The kids think he’s pretty cool.)

We believe it is important for students to worship on Sunday mornings with their families and have the opportunity to serve in other ministry areas. Dayspring Student Ministry fellowships and spends time together on Sunday evenings from 5:30-8:00pm. Find out more about Dayspring’s Student Ministry
