MALLORY LUCIANO | Director of Children’s Ministry
Mallory was born and raised in South Carolina, the middle child of three daughters. From the moment she started school, she knew that she wanted to be a teacher. Mallory went to Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC, and graduated with a B.S. in Elementary Education. Shortly after getting her first teaching job in Charleston, SC, she met her husband, Chris. They got married in 2012 and had a daughter, Roxie, on Christmas Eve of 2014. In 2019, Mallory’s family moved to Tyler, TX for her husband’s job. After living here for a few months, they decided to try a cute little white chapel in Flint, which as it turns out, was Dayspring’s Flint campus.
Mallory began working as the Coordinator of Flint Children’s Ministry in 2021 and became the Director of Children's Ministry in 2024. Her work includes planning Sunday morning classes for nursery through elementary school, recruiting, training, and discipling the amazing volunteer team that makes those classes possible. She also coordinates "We Love Schools," which is Dayspring Methodist's partnership with Jack and Owens Elementary. Mallory loves planning special kids and family events to grow and nurture life-long believers and foster the close community that embodies Dayspring. God’s calling on her life of teaching and working with amazing kids while showing them the love of Jesus Christ, is the biggest blessing and best job in the world!
