Ways you can serve.
As disciples, we are all called to serve others as part of our connection to Christ. God wants to use your gifts to help transform the world around us.
There are many ways to love people at Dayspring and beyond, so let us help you find the perfect role.
You can get plugged in on Sundays and during the week!
Check out ways to serve below.

The First Impressions Team is our “front door ministry”.
They are usually the first faces people see when they come to Dayspring. They assist with opening doors, greeting people with a smile, passing out drinks and donuts, distributing materials, collecting the offering, and answering general questions about Dayspring.

Congregational Care Team
Are you looking for a meaningful way to make a positive impact within your church community? Consider joining our Congregational Care Team! As a member of this dedicated group, you'll have the opportunity to provide vital support and care to fellow congregation members in times of need. Whether it's offering a meal to parents of a newborn, providing prayer during challenging times, or bringing your truck to help a neighbor, your involvement can truly make a difference.

YUM exists to provide timely meals for Dayspring families in need. The birth of a new baby, a death in the family, or a major surgery/illness are examples of times when we can serve one another. You don't have to be a chef to join the team. Homemade is great, but door dash and pick-up ordering are also wonderful ways to participate. By joining the YUM team, when a need arises within our congregation, you will receive an emailed link to a Meal Train schedule where you can sign up to bring a meal based on your desired meal prep method & availability.

Congregational care team for our “get 'er done” guys and gals who make things happen: cut up a fallen tree, mow a yard, fix a toilet, etc. These are acts of love. Serving With A Truck (SWAT) team members don't have to have their own truck, but they do need to consider themselves handy! If that's you, join the S.W.A.T. team by signing up below. You'll receive an email when there is a need within our congregation that details how the team can help.

Are you interested in finding out more about prayer or how you can provide compassionate and prayerful support for our community? If so, this may be the perfect group for you. This group meets on Monday evenings at the church and spends time studying the Word and interceding through prayer for those who have shared their concerns.

Stephen Ministry offers a proven and effective way to organize, equip, and supervise a team of congregation members—called Stephen Ministers—to provide high-quality, one-to-one, Christ-centered care to people in the congregation and the community experiencing life difficulties. We are excited to currently be in the process of building a Stephen Ministry team here at Dayspring!
