How to stay in the loop:

On any given week at Dayspring, we have numerous events, ministry opportunities, volunteer needs and other things that we need to make you aware of. Sometimes it’s a new group that’s starting, or an opportunity to serve our community. It might also be the next church-wide event, or our next worship series at Dayspring.

These are all wonderful ways that we connect, grow and love our community during the week, but as we grow as a church, our announcements have become a lot to communicate during Sunday morning services. in fact, they can be too much to even cover in the “announcement time” on Sunday morning, especially since our purpose during worship services is just that: worship.

But, we think we’ve found a solution. In order to keep the main thing, the main thing on Sundays, we’re going to limit the number of announcements during worship services, and instead, we’re going to empower YOU to keep yourself up to date, starting now.

There are four key ways that you can stay in the loop:

  • FACEBOOK: Connect to Dayspring on Facebook! Search Facebook for Dayspring UMC Tyler, or just go to facebook.com/dayspringumc and like the page.
  • OUR APP: Download the Dayspring App to your mobile devices, and be sure to enable notifications. We don’t send many notifications, but when something important comes up, you’ll know!
  • ENGAGE CARD: Make sure we have accurate contact information for you. This Sunday during the service, fill out one of the engage cards with your email address, to ensure that you get critical emails, and if you serve a volunteer team, be sure to include your cell phone number, so that you can receive texts from your volunteer leader. Click here to fill out an engage card online!
  • EVENTS PAGE: Visit dayspringmethodist.com/events, to see what’s coming up, and to add items to your personal calendar.

That’s it!

We believe that by empowering each of our people with these tools and resources for ministry, that Dayspring will continue to be the church that God has called us to be. A church that “feeds our love-starved culture by empowering Christ-filled lives.”
